I don’t know what “true blooded American” means either.

And I agree that everybody deserves an opportunity in America
as long as they pursue it the right way, as in, waiting their turn to
come here legally and learning to speak our language while they wait.

Maybe you should grow up. “True Blooded American” What does that even mean?? Well I’m a proud Mexican American, and I think every body deserves an oppertunity in America. As long as they persue it the right llegal way.

Please for the love of God, try to do something about the over run of illegal immigrants in the Santa Clara County. While the majority appears to be hispanic, young and pregnant, with one in a stroller and holding the hands of several toddlers, there are many Philopinos, Indians, Asians and Russians in our area. None speak a work of English. If you go to an emergency room, it takes from four to six hours to be seen even though most citizens pay health insurance. When an American is out of work and go to social services to get assistance, they are denied because they own a home. Something is wrong with this picture. We are all of God’s children and I habor nor hate towards anyone. Our nation is being over run and our social services resources and our school budgets are being drained by those who have not contributed. The other problem that I have is that many illegal immingrant own and drive automobiles without licsense or insurance. My friend was hit from the rear of her car while I was in the car. The driver gave us a bogas lic and insurance. We blocked her car in until the police arrived and they found out that both were forged. PLEASE, PLEASE I beg of the new congress to tackle this issue as soon as possible. It is totally out of control in our state. In my small town, most shops have signs in Vietamese or Chinese. We can no longer tell if we are near a doctor’s office if we need help or a shoe shop. All of the signs on our main street are in a foreign language. Please help us. Our school had to change the class schedules due to over crowding. One of my teacher told me that over half of her students this year speak Spanish and she speaks English. She spends time with the non-English sudents that she could be teaching her English speaking students. You have to walk in the shoes of an everyday citizen to see how illegal immigration has affected us. PLease help!!!!!!

Peter King, Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, defended his decision Thursday to hold a hearing on the radicalization of Muslim Americans, saying there is nothing “un-American” or “radical” about Congress examining whether there are more ways to protect the country from the risk of home-grown terrorism.

“To back down would be a craven surrender to political correctness and an abdication of what I believe to be the main responsibility of this committee — to protect America from a terrorist attack,” said Rep. Peter T. King, the New York Republican whose district was heavily affected by the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

E-Verify and a fully secured border with the “approved” 2-layer fence would mostly STOP Illegal “trespassing” on it’s own, along with enforcing our laws, and stopping Visa Overstays. Amnesty after Amnesty = Open Borders!, and we have had several “one-time” Amnesties , sorry, don’t work, just encourage more Illegal trespassing, Illegal aliens are NOT Immigrants……..

Hi Paul – thanks for the comment. It’s important for citizens to see illegal aliens as trespassers who should be treated like any other criminal.

And yes, the last election was merely the prelude for a major House cleaning!
